- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I usually go to a different Cyprus Credit Union, I ran over here on lunch to deposit a check since it is close to my office. They put a hold on the check for a week. I have been to many other Cyprus Credit Unions and they have never put a hold on a check. I have even deposited a check of similar value (from the same company) at a different branch no problem.
